This project comprises a collection of 30 single-family homes developed in collaboration with Freed Development, with Micacchi Architecture working alongside AKB Architects as Architect of Record. The community is organized around a series of distinct model types, each adapted to their individual plot and landscape conditions.


The homes are conceived with clean lines and a restrained transitional aesthetic, balancing contemporary expression with warmth and longevity. Set against the dramatic terrain of the Canadian Shield, many of the sites engage directly with exposed granite outcroppings, framing expansive views and grounding the architecture in its natural context.


Generous room proportions, varied and expressive ceiling heights, and an emphasis on natural light define the interior experience. Large openings and thoughtful massing strategies strengthen the relationship between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape, creating homes that feel both open and rooted.


The project is currently in execution, translating the model designs into a cohesive 30-unit residential community.
