Situated in a mid-century, west-end Toronto neighborhood, this new residence is being constructed to adhere to the stringent energy-efficient standards set forth by the Passive House Institute. To accomplish this, meticulous attention is being paid to the building’s thermal envelope, window specifications, and climate control system. The home also incorporates solar panels, geothermal heating, and a water-vapor fireplace.
