CA House
Muskoka, Ontario
This large family retreat in the Muskoka Lakes region is composed of distinct wood- and stone-clad volumes, each housing separate programmatic zones. These volumes are interconnected by transparent glass bridges, creating a sense of movement through nature and maximizing lake views. The architecture emphasizes material honesty and regional character, with extensive use of natural stone and warm timber cladding. The integrated boathouse at the water’s edge continues the material palette and anchors the building to its lakeside context, reinforcing a strong, cohesive connection between architecture and landscape.
