Micacchi Architecture is a Toronto based practice offering full architectural services, with a portfolio of primarily residential projects from large condominiums to private residences.
The firms range of services run the entire length of the project, from project conception, approvals, to contract administration throughout construction.
The office utilizes advanced software that produces 2D and 3D documents. We use these to study a sequence of refined computer models over the course of the project. This approach ensures qualities such as sun angles, materiality, and the general feeling of the building is perfected.
Robert Micacchi has spent over 10 years making buildings at a variety of scales. His involvement has shaped many condominium projects throughout downtown Toronto, a large addition at the Univeristy of Toronto’s Robarts Library, and a selection of private residences.
Throughout several large condominium projects, Robert has successfully maintained a high standard for design throughout the often rigorous economic and planning exercises that face a project of this scale. This foresight during the initial planning stages is important to help all stakeholders successfully reach their goals.
Through his work on private residences, he is exploring the use of local building forms and materials, and reconfiguring them in a contemporary architectural language.
